Plague of Socialized Medicine Heading for America

It is now official. There are 219 socialists in the United States House of Representatives. All of them are Democrats, and all of them voted to bring socialized medicine to America. Late on a Sunday night, when many people had already gone to bed, 219 congressmen voted for H.R.3590, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which was just a few votes over the minimum of 216 needed to pass the bill. America is now on the verge of officially becoming a socialist democratic republic.

If this bill gets signed into law, the same people that run the IRS, Medicare, and Social Security will eventually be in control of your physical well-being. The federal government seems determined to thrust itself into the healthcare industry, and this will be only the first step toward a government-dominated healthcare system. One can only imagine where we are going to go from here.

If you want to know the names of the 219 socialists who voted to make this change for us, here are their names. Check the list for your representative. The odds are just over 50% that you are being represented by one of these Democrats.

Artist Behind Obama Joker Image Revealed (Well, Sort Of)

By Firas Alkhateeb

Thanks to Mark Milian of the Los Angeles Times, we now know the artist behind the original image on the, now famous, Barack Obama Joker poster. The creator of the most striking political image of 2009 is Firas Alkhateeb, a 20-year old Chicago student, who created the image by altering a Time magazine cover using Adobe PhotoShop. Oddly enough, the Palestinian American, Alkhateeb clearly appears to not be the same person who created the "Socialism" poster using the same image. That individual who hijacked and altered that image from Flickr is still unknown.

Ironically, Alkhateeb does not seem to care for the Barack Obama Joker poster, and he does not appear to be against socialism. This is evidenced by a quote from Alkhateeb: "It really doesn't make any sense to me at all. To accuse him of being a socialist is really ... immature. First of all, who said being a socialist is evil?"

Also surprising, Alkhateeb appears to lean to the liberal side. He prefers Dennis Kucinich to the other prominent politicians. He does not seem to care much for Obama and says, "In terms of domestic policy, I don't think he's really doing much good for the country right now. We don't have to 'hero worship' the guy."

This is a surprising turn. Most of us were probably thinking the Obama poster was the work of Republicans or some crazy underground artist. It turns out the creator is just some student who shared his doodles online. The true poster bandit still appears to be at-large and enjoying his anonymity. One wonders if we will ever know the true identity of the person who made Alkhateeb's art famous.

Posters Portray Barack Obama As Joker of Socialism

Posters portraying Barack Obama as Heath Ledger's Joker character from The Dark Knight have recently be seen in the Los Angeles and Atlanta areas. The posters show Barack Obama in makeup closely resembling that of Batman's greatest enemy and include the word socialism. No one has taken credit for the posters

How come nobody got upset when Drew Friedman gave George W. Bush a similar Joker makeover in "No Joke" published by Vanity Fair on July 28, 2008? Perhaps, the addition of the word socialism is what is really upsetting Obama supporters.

Fashion by Marx

(AFP/Emmanuel Dunand)

Marcus Marx was one of the early owners of Hart Schaffner & Marx (Hartmarx). This is the company who designed Obama’s Election Day victory speech suit. Do not miss the irony that our new Socialist President was dressed by a Marx the day he was elected.

Barack Obama Lowers the Rich Threshold

Several days ago, Barack Obama was claiming that any household with less than $250,000 in combined income would receive a tax cut under his tax plan. During the last few days, Barack Obama has changed this figure. Now, your combined household income has to be under $200,000 to receive a tax cut. There is also a story floating around that Joe Biden recently said the actual threshold will be $150,000.

Why do we keep hearing all of these different numbers? What is the truth? What does Obama consider to be rich? When the dust settles, and Barack Obama is comfortably in office, we are probably going to find that any married couple making $100,000 is considered rich. Do not be surprised if that number is even lower. Socialism is not cheap.

Peggy Joseph Expects No Gas and Mortgage Worries with President Barack Obama

Peggy Joseph expects she will no longer have to worry about filling her tank with gas or paying her mortgage if Barack Obama becomes President. Has Peggy Joseph misunderstood Barack Obama’s plans? Is she a typical Barack Obama voter? By the way, exactly who is supposed to pay for Peggy Joseph’s gas and house?

See Peggy Joseph here.

Obama Tells Joe the Plumber He Wants to Spread the Wealth Around (Like a Socialist)

Joe the Plumber (Joe Wurzelbacher), now made famous by numerous mentions in the October 16, 2008 Presidential debate, was recently treated to straight talk from Barack Obama. Obama is a socialist, and he frankly admitted it to Joe the Plumber when he clearly stated he wants to "spread the wealth around."

Joe Wurzelbacher was asking an honest question about Obama’s tax policies, and was slapped with Marxist doctrine. Right in front of cameras and actual Americans in Ohio, Obama openly admitted the cornerstone of his liberal ideals: Tax those who have more and give it to those who have less.

In Obama’s world, it does not matter how hard people work and how much they earn. What matters is that everyone gets to enjoy the fruits of successful people. This is not American. This is Socialism. What ever happened to taking risks, working hard, and enjoying the rewards? Is that not one of the most basic pillars or American culture? How can we allow a man to be President of the United States of America when he supports such blatantly anti-capitalist views? If Obama’s tax plan sounds familiar to you, here is where you may have heard his philosophy before:

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."
- Karl Marx
